The Caxton Street Seafood Festival is back.
After fizzling out before the 2017 event due to financial losses suffered in 2016, one of Brisbane’s most iconic street parties is returning in pocket form, taking over the Caxton Hotel car park on the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend.
The day will feature the Caxton’s car park beer garden, pop-up bars, seafood trucks, oyster shucking, ping-pong, giant Connect Four, and five live music acts performing across two stages. There will even be an oyster-eating competition, if you’re that brave.
The event kicks off at 10am Sunday May 5 and will run until late in the night. For more information see here.
