Holey Moley Golf Club is opening a new minigolf course in Wintergarden in the Brisbane CBD.

Launching November 29 on the first level of the shopping mall, it will bring to the city the brand’s usual mix of booze, bar food and imaginative putt putt.

The holes themselves will be Holey Moley’s typical mash-up of pop culture with very clever prop-making. There’s the True Blue Green, a tribute to Steve Irwin; a Forrest Gump-themed hole, complete with shrimp and a box of chocolates; Vincent Van Golf, where you putt through a replica of Vincent van Gogh’s bedroom; and Makin’ it Rain, in which you take a shot in a room full of flying cash.

For food there will be stone-baked pizzas, hotdogs, chicken wings and a burger menu. The drinks list boasts the usual clutch of cleverly named cocktails – try an Austin Sours, a Gopher Gold, the Sugar Caddy or an Espresso Partini – alongside a range of wines, beers, spirits and mocktails.

Your Christmas party plans may have just changed.
