Stone & Wood is returning to the Old Museum, throwing a free Brewsvegas party in March.

Clyde, the Stone & Wood beer truck, will be in attendance, pouring a bunch of beers including the official festival drop, the Hoppy Potato Ale. Half of the money from the beer’s sale will go towards Brewsvegas (which is a not-for-profit), with the other half donated to food rescue organisation, OzHarvest.

Stone & Wood is also taking the opportunity to launch #Forcupssake in Queensland. The initiative aims to cut down on single use cups, with every beer purchased offering the opportunity to take home a special cup as a memento or to return it to be washed and re-used.

The event kicks off at 5.30pm on March 17 and includes music, food trucks, a selection of local market stalls and a pop-up vinyl record store by Sonic Sherpa. There will also be DJs and live art by local artist Drapl.

And if you’re really keen, you can stick around for Bootleg Rascal, who are playing a ticketed gig upstairs in the Old Museum at 8.30pm. Tickets for the show are $15.

Update: An earlier edition of this story had Bootleg Rascal tickets listed at $30. The price has since dropped to $15.
