The lockdown will lift for Brisbane and Moreton Bay residents at 6pm tonight, after it was extended for 24 hours yesterday.
The announcement comes as five new cases of community transmission are reported. Several cases are linked to the Portuguese Family Centre cluster. Another is a woman who worked one shift at Prince Charles Hospital and another is a baggage handler at Brisbane Domestic Airport. For a list of exposure sites, visit qld.gov.au/health.

SUBSCRIBE NOW- Residents must wear a mask at all times outside the home, including in workplaces where you cannot physically distance, on public transport and when doing non-vigorous exercise.
- You must be seated to drink or eat in cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs
- Businesses and venues are allowed one person per four square metres inside and one person per two square metres outdoors, while smaller venues up to 200 square metres are allowed one person per two square metres with a maximum of 50 people.
- Private gatherings are restricted to 30 people, and up to 100 people can attend weddings and funerals. Only 20 people can dance at weddings.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk also urged Queenslanders to get tested if you're feeling sick and to continue to use QR codes. “This is vital for our contact tracers, especially over this period,” she said.
