Features
Salt is a cafe and roastery on the corner of Doggett Street and Commercial Road. It’s done in gold-accented pink and emerald interiors and polished concrete. There’s a glitzy espresso bar, a handsome San Remo coffee machine finished in bronze with leather sides and, of course, the on-site roastery.
A straightforward menu of house-made crumpets and sandwiches keeps the spotlight firmly on the coffee. Salt pours its own Julie Blend: a sweet, complex mix with beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and Guatemala. Coffee comes available either as espresso or pour-over. Single origins are also served.
