Husband and wife owners Lui Monforte and Angie Dugdale treat their customers like family, referring to their Graceville community as being much like a country town, complete with a friendly canine, Bella, out the front to greet guests.
Honour offers a variety of innovative breakfast and lunch options, ranging from sourdough with free-range eggs to beetroot-cured salmon with double-smoked streaky bacon; or banana bread with crème fraiche. For lunch, gourmet burgers, club sandwiches and salads are served until 2pm.
Bread lovers will enjoy loaves from Le Sebastian Bakery. The house roast is a full-bodied dark Italian style roast from DE Master Blenders, and Monteforte often adds a rotating blend to the menu from other local roasters, so you're never locked in.
Monforte’s mother, Mimsy Monteforte, bakes the cafe’s cakes and biscuits, including the famed ricotta doughnuts, which are only available on Saturdays.
