Deedot Coffee House
Features
Sipping a coffee and chatting with friends at Deedot Coffee House, you could be in the backyard of a suburban home. Its white picket fence, potted plants and mismatched furniture carry a share house feel – if the tenants of said share house were exceptionally clean and stylish, that is.
Owners Jade and Darian Brennan envisioned it this way long before they opened Deedot in 2013 when the couple were still franchise managers. Then they realised they could do it themselves.
The result is a corner cafe with a strong following. It helps that prams, dogs and big groups are all easily accommodated, with a large outdoor area wrapping around the front of the cafe.
Since day one, the most popular menu item has been the Stacks On, a well-styled stack of Turkish bread, avocado, bacon, poached egg, haloumi and cherry tomatoes which is a part of the all-day breakfast menu.
Cold press juices and seasonal coffee blends by Uncle Joe’s Coffee Roasters round out the offering.
