Features
A European working holiday trip led Duncan Harrison down a path to a gelato-making course in Italy. There, he fell in love with the art of making Italy’s favourite dessert and decided to open a gelataria back home.
Cheekily named after the pet phrase of food bloggers the world over, Nom Nom delights customers with its rotating range of 18 flavours served in handmade waffle cones.
You won’t find any nasty additives here. Nom Nom is all about using high quality natural ingredients and churning them with Maleny Dairy milk and cream. Familiar favourites such as Belgian chocolate, green tea and coffee appeal to the masses, as do contemporary flavours such as gingerbread, apple pie and cheesecake.
You’ll also find pistachio and almond gelato made using real nut paste, as well as gluten- and dairy-free options in Nom Nom’s fruit sorbet range. Cold press coffees are also available courtesy of Abrisca Coffee Roasters.
