A huge indoor plant sale is coming to Moorooka next month.
On April 13 from 8am to 4pm and April 14 10am to 2pm The Jungle Collective is hosting Jungle Boogie, turning an enormous warehouse into a temporary nursery full of 150 different species of plant including fiddle leaf figs, giant birds of paradise, mothers in law tongues, ferns, hanging plants, string of pearls, bangalow palms, kentia palms and just about anything else you can imagine.
Anyone who has been to one of these events will know they tend to be very popular so The Jungle Collective has ticketed proceedings to deal with demand. There are four slots available on Saturday and two on Sunday.
There’s a minimum $10 spend but you get a fiver off if you dress up in a 70s theme – flares, wigs, head pieces, flower crowns, whatever – as long as you’re wearing two pieces of clothing, you qualify.
Otherwise, this is a Jungle Collective event so expect tunes, style inspiration for your greenery and an on-site horticulturalist to help you understand why you kill things.
Jungle Boogie will be held at 11A / 25 Michlin Street in Moorooka on April 13 and 14. For more information see here.
