Love plants but hate shopping for plants? Then Rhiannon Campbell has done you a favour. In June the Brisbane local launched Botanic Box, a plant subscription service that each month delivers a new indoor plant and pot to your door. Campbell reckons it’s the first service of its kind in Australia.
Packages range from three to 12 months, with something different delivered every month. The service also loops in local artists, makers and growers in an aim to ensure that every four weeks subscribers are getting a one-of-a-kind product. One month you may receive a succulent, the next a fiddle leaf fig, the next a spritely little cactus.
“Each month we profile a local artist, which means our subscribers are truly receiving a unique piece which may include a handmade ceramic pot, art cards and of course a beautiful indoor plant,” Campbell said in a news release. “So far we have collaborated with Lush Succulents, studio Nikulinsky and Kojo Kokadamas.”
Subscriptions start at $49.95 per month on a three month plan. You can purchase for yourself but gift options are also available. For more information, see here.
