After a stellar debut season, which saw the NAB AFL Women’s Competition attract huge interest, AFLW returns in 2018.

This sixth-round match between Brisbane and Collingwood will take place at the Moreton Bay Central Sport Complex in Caboolture on Saturday March 10. The game will be a rematch of the pair’s clash in the 2017 season’s third round, when Brisbane narrowly defeated Collingwood by four points.

The Brisbane squad is coming off a superb debut year. Finishing at the top of the ladder in 2017, they will be looking to improve after falling short in the Grand Final.

A challenge will be a change in the line-up. Brisbane lost marquee player Tayla Harris during the off-season after the forward requested a trade, and All-Australian Sam Virgo has ruptured her ACL. But the team welcomes eight new players in 2018, including midfielder Jordan Zanchetta. The Lions’ first-round pick in 2017, Zanchetta sat out the year with an ACL injury.

Make the most of the game-day activities for the whole family, including face painting, hair braiding and temporary tattoos.

Entry is free.
