Rachael Will spent 18 months searching for the perfect shopfront for her collection of vintage homewares and furniture. She had multiple sheds full of the stuff from more than a decade spent carefully picking through op-shops, garage sales and estate clearances. Vintage Carousel started in 2008 and it’s still restocked daily.
Will spends her days cruising estate sales and auctions or emptying houses of people relocating overseas or interstate. Her store is tiny and needs restyling every week to include her newest pickups and feature items. Follow Vintage Carousel’s Instagram for the freshest finds.
The shop supports its community by offering a selection of South Australian-made homewares, ceramics and soft furnishings, jewellery, giftware and more.
