When she’s not designing in her studio or chatting with customers at her flagship store in Ebenezer Place, Naomi Murrell is looking for inspiration. And she finds it everywhere, from the flowers she picks in the garden of her peach-coloured 1920s home, to films by Wes Anderson and Sofia Coppola.

Murrell’s jewellery is known for its feminine whimsy and characteristic pops of colour. The clean designs are both understated and wearable – think pretty pastels accented by rose gold and tiny pendants dangling from delicate silver chains.

Her clothes share the same down-to-earth and fun-loving nature. Made from high-quality breathable fabrics such as cotton and linen, the clean lines and classic shapes are both comfortable and universally flattering. Each piece is not without its own unique touch – an ankle-baring leg cuff, a voluminous boxy shape or a rounded Peter Pan collar accentuates femininity in ways you wouldn’t usually expect.

The store’s whitewashed, minimalist design serves as the perfect backdrop for these colourful fashions and trinkets, which are accompanied by a selection of locally made organic cotton tees by Vege Threads and greenery by Adelaide label E-S-T.
