New Zealand label AS Colour sells reasonably priced, ethically produced basics for men and women. The company is committed to humane working conditions and has child-labour-free accreditation. This is not fast fashion, just simple, good-quality stuff.
The sleek, split-level store on Rundle Street features bleached-oak flooring; tiled feature walls; and powder-coated shelving. And the Adelaide store is one of the few in Australia to carry the full AS Colour range. Its line of around 120 products features tees, shirts, jackets, hats and bags in a range of colours.
AS Colour also runs an annual T-shirt-design competition and online store – The Little Help Project – to help out up-and-coming creatives.
