Away from the noisy arterial traffic of Grenfell Street, the tiny Cöld Prëssë Organic Juicery Bar serves up brightly coloured juices, tonics and snacks fit for both the health-conscious and the just plain hungry.

A vacation to the States saw husband-and-wife owners Amanda and Peter Pirone thoroughly smitten by the burgeoning juice and health-food culture of LA and New York. Upon their return to Adelaide they their day jobs behind to set up shop in early 2016.

The shop’s blended drinks are heavy on ingredients such as banana, blueberries, honey, coconut and almond milk, plus any other combination that takes you or the Pirones’ fancy on a given day. The organic juice menu is in a state of constant flux depending on seasonal availability, which keeps flavours fresh and customers on their toes.

Soon after opening, the Pirones noticed juice fans were also keen on solids. so now offer a rotating food menu that includes wholemeal wraps, salads and slow-cooked Italian beef brisket. A daily choice of two soups keeps things toasty through the winter months when a cool drink might not be quite as tempting.
