Bauhaus
Bauhaus is like a mini art gallery. It’s the everything under the sun of accessories and homewares. Walking through the store is a mild obstacle course as you make your way around stools, lamps, ottomans and cushions.
Jewellery and other ornaments are set out in beautiful ceramic bowls and on large stands. Bags and clutches sit in a lovely heap so you can browse the mix of metallic foils, soft leather and fake hide pieces.
Through the centre of the store, glass cabinets house the more expensive jewellery, as well as the full Palas range. Bauhaus also stocks unique Adelaide artist Tiff Manuell’s range, with her signature paint splattering featured on cuffs, clutches and feather necklaces.
Eclectic art is stacked against the walls, and shelves upon shelves house various other treasures such as miniature brass sculptures, hand-carved Ethiopian crosses, leather-bound journals, copper candle holders and more.
The stock is forever changing, so you’ll see something new week-to-week. The stock is sourced from around the world and from many local makers in Adelaide and Australia, as well as from indigenous craftspeople around the world.
