Features
Pinco Italo is the grown-up evolution of the Pinco brand by Saba Maghsoudi and Elijah Makris, housed in the former smash burger Jumbo site on Union Street. The menu leans into unfussy, produce-driven Italian dishes.
Expect handmade pasta like rigatoncini alla vodka and cacio e pepe gnocchi with prosciutto. There are also lighter plates like anchovy toast with pickled tomatoes and ricotta or a zingy crudo with fig, pepperoncini and mint. Lunch offers snacky shares and salads, while dinner adds crowd-pleasers like chicken cotoletta and a hefty dry-aged rib eye.
The fit-out mixes industrial elements with softer touches like white tablecloths, art-lined walls and a mirrored bar, creating a cosy, mature space ideal for lingering over cocktails.
