Burgastronomy’s street signage says all it needs to: burgers, beer, cider. The scaled-back menu offers just that, sidelining modern interpretations for classic, all-American style burgers.

The flavour combinations are kept simple, allowing the quality and freshness of the ingredients to remain the focus. Choose from a premium beef patty, fried chicken or vegetarian portobello mushroom burger.

All burgers can be customised with a selection of extras such as bacon, avocado, beetroot, cheese and fried egg, and sides such as chips, sweet potato chips and cabbage slaw.

Beers and Adelaide Hills cider wait in the fridge to wash the food down with. Pull up a stool at one of the shared benches, roll up your sleeves and grab a few napkins – the burgers may be fancy, but eating them sure isn’t.
