Aurora is the centrepiece of multi-level arts venue Light on Adelaide’s Light Square, founded by philanthropists Nick and Sophie Dunstone. Leading the Aurora kitchen is executive chef Robin Wagner, who’s previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany (Vendôme and Villa Merton), as well as Australian icons such as the Lake House and Magill Estate.

Aurora offers two seasonal menus (à la carte and degustation), drawing from global cuisines and native Australian produce. Wagner works exclusively with suppliers who align with the restaurant’s sustainability ethos, and the resulting dishes might include mushroom and tea paté, smoked mussel with native thyme, and cardamon-infused pork belly in a smoky, salty broth topped with slivers of abalone.
