Features
Argo on the Parade has one of the longest menus in Adelaide. From eggs on rye, pancakes, açai bowls and big breakfasts, to salads, burgers (both meat and vegetarian), hotdogs and sweet potato fries, it covers a lot of bases.
It’s no surprise the cafe is frequented by vegans and bacon-lovers alike. Owner Daniel Milky is keen to cater for every kind of diet, whether it’s gluten-, sugar- or dairy-free, vegan, paleo or out-and-out carnivore.
The approach has proved popular. Really popular. On weekends the line is out the door with a considerable wait for a table. Luckily the cafe is used to the pressure, and the turnover of tables is swift.
Once you’re seated, settle in and prepare for the tough decisions ahead. Alongside classic egg and toast dishes, sweet “bre-sserts” and a long list of lunch options, there are freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, milkshakes, teas and Monastery coffee.
