When Jenny’s Bakery announced plans to open on Everard Avenue in Keswick, the DMs started rolling in. Locals, Ashford Hospital staff and nearby businesses were all incredibly eager to know more.

Since owner Joe Titaro’s father bought the original Eastwood bakery in 1992, Jenny’s has become an Adelaide institution. When the pandemic hit and its wholesale business vanished overnight, the family pivoted to retail – to huge success.

This Keswick location continues that evolution, reimagining the old Sylvia’s Deli site as a modern, European-inspired corner store. And although it’s a step up in design and size – with a 75-person capacity – the heart of the operation remains the same.

The menu features all the Jenny’s classics: buttery pistachio croissants, Nutella bomboloni, crème brûlée doughnuts, flaky fruit pastries, chewy cookies, meat pies, cakes, and generously layered focaccia sandwiches and subs. New to the line-up are moreish cookie and soft serve combos.

If you need something to chase all that pastry, there’s the full line-up of espresso, matcha and specialty drinks made with beans from St Ali.

Designed by Georgie Shepherd Interior Design and built by Progetto, the stylish-yet-relaxed interior features warm timber detailing, soft track lighting and lush greenery.
