Nest & Nature is a luxe off-grid stay on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. The property includes twin architecturally designed suites, Nest and Mist, perched atop 240 acres of heritage-listed native bushland. Or, opt for the Eagles View glamping cabin around the corner.

Each villa is fitted with bespoke interiors, and floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can see from Inman Valley to the Southern Ocean, even from bed. You’ll find Aesop products in the bathroom, and a generous stock of aperitivo in the kitchen. (Think local cheese and vino from the nearby McLaren Vale wine region.)

Outside there’s an al fresco dining nook, a terraced firepit and stepping stones to the outdoor sunken bath. Here, the only neighbours you’ll come across are resident black cockatoos, kangaroos and tame alpacas.
