Features
Bora is a laid-back daytime spot where Brazilian flavours are the menu throughline. In the former Cooks Pantry space on Jetty Street, the cafe serves an expansive all-day menu that features both brunch staples and Brazilian classics.
You’ll find Aussie favourites including smashed avo, a brekkie bagel, and a chilli tofu scramble, as well as Brazilian specialties like coxinha (meat-filled fried dough balls). There are also pastries from Fold, loaded sandwiches and acai bowls. Specials – such as bolinha de queijo (crispy cheese balls) and brigadeiros (a chocolate dessert) – nod to owner David William’s Brazilian heritage.
Alongside coffee essentials, fresh juices and smoothies, Bora also offers a small collection of harder stuff, including local wines, beers and cocktails like Caipirinhas, Espresso Martinis, Margaritas and Bloody Marys.
The space is designed to feel like an extension of the beach, with warm timber, pops of vibrant orange, and even a “rapido” for a quick coffee pit stop.
