Dear Daisy is as cute as the name suggests, with a baby blue wall, daisy vases, slate floors, and a little courtyard. Frank Sinatra playing in the background completes the peaceful, homey vibe.
Given the popularity of an all-day breakfast menu, the weekends are busy. Weekdays are supported by locals who work in the area and are looking to stamp more squares on their coffee card.
The staff are helpful and eager to please – anything on the menu can be altered, so they can accommodate for all. Their “biggie”, the “big veg”, and the “big vegan” are the three main plates for brunch customers, while lunchtime favourites include a haloumi burger.
The desserts come from Sweet Lola, a specialty gluten-free supplier. The cafe also uses local milk company, Fleurieu Milk.
