First it was pizza. Then came beer and wine. Now local delivery app Bianca has partnered with local producer Alpha Box & Dice (AB&D) for an offer that’s hard to refuse.

After trialling wine delivery with three Italian vinos last year, Bianca co-founder Aman Takhar decided to spotlight a South Australian winemaker. We lay claim to some of the best wine regions in the world, after all.

“It only made sense for us to partner with a local,” he says. “We are finding more and more customers are ordering wine with their pizzas and to partner with a McLaren Vale brand ... It’s a perfect match.”

“[AB&D] have a good story and a funky brand and their product is unreal. It really suits our pizza as they are a very drinkable wines.”

The best part? Wait time is only 35 minutes (for those who live within Bianca’s delivery radius).

AB&D managing director Dylan Fairweather says options will include “fan favourites as well as some of our more obscure and premium products”. “Our wine styles lean heavily on easy-drinking Italian and Mediterranean varietals,” he adds, so it’s the perfect match with Bianca’s Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas.

Six AB&D wines are currently on the list, including Rebel Rebel 2016 Langhorne Creek montepulciano; Tarot 2017 McLaren Vale grenache; Uncle 2017 Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc; Pink Matter 2017 McLaren Vale rosé; and Zaptung NV Murray Darling prosecco.

If you’re looking to splash out, opt for the $100 bottle of Hercules 2014 McLaren Vale shiraz. Tasting notes are on the website to help you select the right tipple for your pie.

Customers who prefer their booze brewed can also opt for six packs of Hills Cider, Corona Extra, and Peroni’s red lager (when it's back in stock).
