We’ve all had evenings where we’ve opted to sit down to a cheese platter instead of cooking dinner. But for nights when even that is a challenge, there’s help coming.
The Cheese Riot launches in Adelaide on Monday, offering subscribers ready-to-eat platters and cheese-and-wine hampers delivered to your door. Convenient, huh?
Suppliers will change regularly to showcase a mix of small Australian producers. Locals Udder Delights and Section 28 have already signed on. There’ll also be tasty accompaniments such as crackers, honey and chutney from Port Willunga Fine Foods, Baylies of Strathalbyn and Lucy's Foods. Plus, importantly, wine. You can select drops from Woodstock and Alpha Box & Dice.
Anna Perejma launched the service in Sydney last year. She’s also the national events officer for the Australian Specialist Cheesemakers' Association so you best believe she knows her cheese.
Platters are available for the Adelaide metro area only. Hampers are available for delivery nationwide. Both are available for same-day delivery.
