The much-loved winter festival is turning 10 – and is celebrating with one of its boldest line-ups of brewers, barbeque and bands yet.

After nine years, it’s hard to imagine how the Beer & BBQ Festival can find new ways to push boundaries. But, for its 10th year, the festival is bringing one of its biggest ever line-ups to the Adelaide Showground.

For the milestone edition, the food line-up will include Belles Hot Chicken, Bread & Bone, Blammo, and Fancy Hank’s. Also in the mix are smoky, saucy plates from Anchovy Bandit, Jamaican Mi and French favourite La Louisiane. Grilled meats from Smokey Uppercuts, Lions Roar BBQ and Toly Vietnamese round out the line-up.

The “brew crew”, as the festival calls it, is stacked. Expect pours from Pirate Life Brewing and Coopers Brewery alongside the likes of Chubby Unicorn Brewing, Noodledoof, Penny Red Beer Co, Pikes Beer Company, Rehn Bier and Vale Brewing. This year also welcomes Deep Elite, Ill Intentions, Muffy Malone, Fox Friday, Range Brewing and Jump Ship Brewing. Beyond beer, there are cocktails by Kombi Crew, small-batch spirits by 23rd Street Distillery, El Toro Tequila, Heaps Good Spirits and Somos Wines.

The entertainment line-up features Aussie rock royalty Wolfmother as well as The Chats, Tim Finn, The Gooch Palms, Fluorescent Adolescents, Halftime Oranges, King of Spain, Nocturnal Animals and plenty more. There’ll also be live BMX and skateboard demos, riotous wrestling matches, eating comps, axe-throwing and a tattoo parlour.
