Custom menswear label InStitchu has brought its “affordable luxury” to Adelaide with a brand new showroom on Flinders Street.
The Sydney-born label, founded by Robin McGowan and James Wakefield in 2011, offers quality and experience at an accessible price point, something they wanted reflected in-store.
“We wanted to create a space that was sophisticated and upmarket with a high-end finish,” says McGowan. The result is an old-world tailoring experience with a modern twist.
Adorned with large windows, clean lines and plenty of natural light, the showroom is as much about the experience as it is about the product.
While there, dapper men of Adelaide can browse a large selection of sample suits, shirts and all the trimmings (there are pocket squares, ties, Italian leather shoes and cufflinks to complete the look) to put together an outfit personalised from head to toe – with help from stylists Holly Longford and Jessica Page.
“The idea is that you pick out a few pieces you like and create a look that is truly unique and reflective of you,” says McGowan.
"With fit and quality at the forefront of all InStitchu designs (all InStitchu wool fabrics are Woolmark certified 100% Australian Merino wool), each suit is designed to be a wardrobe staple for years to come."
The service doesn’t stop with your own personal stylist either. Have a game of foosball or sample a nice whisky and enjoy the InStitchu experience in its entirety.
