Melbourne-Born Lifestyle Brand Hommey Opens First Interstate Store in Adelaide

New year, new you, new sheets.

If you’re looking to upgrade your linen, towelling and pyjamas in the new year, things just got a whole lot easier.

Hommey first launched in Melbourne in 2020 with a curated collection of homewares and lifestyle products that help elevate the everyday. Matching linen pyjamas, chic reversible bedding and plush robes that give hotel-level comfort are all on offer.

It opened its first bricks-and-mortar space in 2023 and quickly built five Victorian locations. Its new Rundle Street store, which launched just before Christmas, is its first outside of Victoria.

"We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from our South Australian customers shopping online, so bringing Hommey to Adelaide feels like the natural next step,” says founder Justin Kestelman. “This store is about creating a space where people can experience the brand in person, touch the fabrics, see the colours, and feel that sense of comfort and intention we put into every piece.”

The store stocks the lifestyle brand’s full range. Pick up the covetable Versa bedding with bold stripes in complementary colours known for its different colourways on each side. It also offers the newly released Oasis bathroom collection where chic warm hues come in subtle checks. There are also soft-as-butter cashmere loungewear sets.

The fit-out was designed by Melbourne-based firm In Addition. The brief was to create something that looks and feels like a modern living room, with comforting finishes and modular displays. There are also industrial touches with polished concrete floors strewn with rugs, archways and frosted glass windows.
