A Springtime Wine Party at Roxie’s and Chateau Apollo

It’s a simple formula – Sunday arvo, springtime and a few wines – and one that’s hard to refuse.

Twenty-five winemakers will descend on the East End for a cross-venue wine party at Roxie’s and Chateau Apollo next month. All your favourite locals will be on hand pouring fresh new releases; we’re talking Alpha Box & Dice, Ngeringa, Freddy Nerks, Murdoch Hill, Charlotte Dalton, Delinquente, Shobbrook, Hither and Yon, Jauma, Manon Farm and more.

"The wineries selected are all pretty boutique, small producers with plenty of personality and really we hope it will just be a big get-together of friends," says venue manager Jordan Jeavons.

A $20 ticket gets you a glass and tastings between 1 and 5pm. Sample each drop or grab a bottle of your favourite and kick back in the beer garden. All the wines will be available to purchase (by the glass or bottle) at cellar door prices.

There will also be paella, wood-oven pizza and tapas from Roxie's new kitchen residents, Comida Catering Co, and music from local DJ Inkswel.
