Solidarity With the Christchurch Muslim Community Rally
On Friday, an Australian gunman targeted worshippers at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand killing 50 people and injuring 48. The horrific terror attack is the worst mass murder in New Zealand’s modern history.
A rally will be held in the city this Friday as a show of solidarity with Muslim communities here and everywhere. The event, organised by local group Adelaide Campaign Against Racism and Fascism, will start at 5pm at Beehive Corner on King William Street. There will be comments from speakers with activist, community and political backgrounds before a march through Rundle Mall. For more information visit the Facebook page.
