Adelaide’s very good boys and girls will be on show at Salem Cafe this month.
Artist Lou Vodic and photographer (and Broadsheet contributor) Daniel Purvis have captured more than 10 canine companions in colourful acrylic paintings and black and white photographs.
Purvis’s Romagnolo Lagotto, Leo, and Vodic’s nonna’s terrier, Sunny, are among the brood.
Twenty-five per cent of all sales from the exhibition will be donated to the animal welfare league.
Good Dogs! opens on Thursday August 9 at 6pm. Complimentary nibbles will be provided by Salem (with meals available for purchase). There will also be beer by Little Bang Brewery and wine by Vanguardist Wines.
The exhibition will run until September 7. All artworks are available to purchase.
