Club Sup’s Supper Club in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth
Since March 2021, Sophie McIntyre has hosted hundreds of dinner parties across the country. The guests? Strangers.
Responding to the loneliness epidemic – which reached fever pitch during Covid lockdowns – McIntyre took the idea of an “orphan’s Christmas” and share-house dinners to create one of Australia’s most popular supper clubs.
Guests buy a ticket and get a three-course menu at a local venue along with paired wines. Once you’re at the table, a local host will facilitate conversation. You’re likely to leave full, happy and with a few new mates.
The suppers have been a huge success across Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra and in 2025, Club Sup is expanding to Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.
Three local-favourite restaurants have been tapped to host: Dolly in Adelaide, Pilloni in Brisbane and Wines of While in Perth. Dinners will be held monthly between February and April. Tickets cost $126.50.
In Brisbane, McIntyre is also hosting an AM session called Saturday Stroll. The session costs $20 per person. Ten strangers will meet at Agnes to pick up a coffee and then spend the next hour or so chatting on a stroll.
