Barossa Gin Making Experience with Three Course Lunch
If you’ve ever been curious about how to distill gin, interested in gaining an understanding of the process, or just very much into the idea of a three-course lunch at a gin distillery, this session in the Barossa may pique your interests.
Durand Distillery and RedBalloon invites punters to try their hand at making gin. On arrival guests will be guided through the process of selecting ingredients and making your gin in an Italian copper still, under the watchful eye of a distilling expert. You’ll learn how to use botanicals and all the in-house techniques used to craft gins. Once selected and measured, your concoction will be left to its own devices, as you enjoy a three-course lunch at the onsite Farm Eatery.
Once sated, return to your gin recipe and have your guide measure the spirit you’ve created and bottle it for you to take home.
