Est Pizzeria

5:00pm - 10:00pm
30 East Terrace Adelaide 5000

Fitting a pizza oven and restaurant into a tiny space would worry most, but not Est Pizzeria. It uses the space it has, and uses it well.

There’s a limited pizza menu but the result is a selection of well-crafted wood oven delights with options such as shaved potato and gorgonzola; and prawn with black truffle, provolone and rocket.

The wines are chosen to be broadly appealing, and though the list comprises just five reds, four whites and a rose, interesting styles often pop up.

The same goes with the beers. There’s a vast selection of beers, which seem to all have an interesting backstory. Who wouldn’t be interested in the Two Birds Taco ale brewed with coriander seed, lime peel and flaked corn?

In addition to providing dinner, Est wants people to feel challenged (in an approachable way) and experience something new. If you’re coming with a group of eight or more, the banquet for $28 a head makes things easy.

You get a selection of the pizzas, baked polenta and baked gnocchi (gorgonzola and spinach). With a wood oven that comfortably fits four pizzas at a time, this option is the best way to enjoy the experience and leave feeling comfortably full.
