The team at Juice Lovers Juicery have very happy worms. Everything that comes out of the cafe is biodegradable, so every day the workers take home scraps for their critters. Headed up by Manu Parez of bicycle burger cart Veggie Velo, the vegan cafe is a reliable go-to for healthy breakfasts and lunches.

Come by the cafe during the lunch rush and you'll find an assortment of folk – construction and office workers, uni students and retirees. A glance at the colourful assortment of foods will tell you why.

The seasonal menu is made entirely from scratch on the premises and proves eating healthily and locally can be easy and addictive. Expect masterful chia parfaits, hearty veggie curries, smoothies, monstrous wraps, raw sweets and of course, juices.

A chalkboard with cheeky illustrated slogans, DIY fit-out and a welcoming motley crew only add to the cafe’s charm.
