Hark Coffee Roasters

A large and light-filled suburban warehouse in Panorama is the headquarters for Hark, one of South Australia’s best specialty coffee roasters.

Established in 2018, the brand quickly found a following for its signature dark-roasted coffee, while many roasteries around the country were finding success with lighter, fruitier ones. Hark’s Panorama roastery is where you can see the roasting process in action, through a huge glass window dividing the cafe from the roastery.

And while dark-roasted coffees are less synonymous with the specialty coffee world, Hark’s wares couldn’t be further from your nanna’s cup of Moccona. Hardcore coffee drinkers can visit the brew bar for high-end filter options, or buy beans sold in 20-gram vacuum-sealed pouches from the built-in freezer display. The team will even create custom blends based on your preferences.

The focus here is well and truly on the coffee side, but the roastery also offers a tight menu of pastries and savoury bites to go with your cuppa.
