Fiefy’s is the little coffee shop that could. With two locations, the quiet achiever is steadily growing its reach.

The Pirie Street outlet opened in 2011. It sometimes slips under the radar of those hunting for hip, next-wave hangouts – more so due to location than anything else. Focusing on takeaway trade and quick service, Sineenart (Fiefy) Anuwatanaphorn ran this bustling spot in the corporate-packed council building for five years before launching shop two on Flinders Street. Employing a similar approach and aesthetic, the second location took little time to stake a claim, abuzz from week one.

There’s more to Fiefy’s than grab-and-go. Anuwatanaphorn is an established barista with a slew of international awards to her name. She serves the same exclusive coffee blend she used to win the South Australian Barista Championship in 2010, and pours world-class latte art.

Said blend comes courtesy of Coffee Snobs – a niche roaster supplying only a handful of cafes nationwide – and was also awarded a gong for Overall Winner at the Golden Bean Roasting Competition 2012/13.

Aside from the coffee, both outlets offer light lunch menus and pastries and are fully licensed.
