Planted on top of the picturesque Belair Hills, Belair Fine Wines sells more than common tipples. As the name suggests, there’s a large range of fine wines, all personally tasted by the employees to ensure quality. It’s a tough job.

It’d be easy to spend hours just perusing the wine range, but tear yourself away to consider the large selection of spirits, with a particular focus on gin. Gin City is a whole wall dedicated to showcasing all things G&T. Specialty bitters and tonics are also sold to spice up whichever juniper-based spirit you run with.

The Great Wall of Beer is one of South Australia’s largest selections of craft goodness. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, it’s most likely not available in SA. You’ll also find the finest beers from Australia, the US, Belgium, England and beyond.

Friday and Saturday afternoons are the best time to visit, as wine and beer companies pop into store to offer free tastings. Plus, you can enjoy the tranquil, leafy surrounds afterwards. They’re a rarity this close to the CBD.
