Features
Nearly is a trendy yet homey wine bar serving homemade bar snacks alongside South Australian wines, Australian beers and cocktails. It’s the less showy little sister of Stem. The cosy bar – which is fitted out with seats by the window, small curved tables, stools and a communal long-table – is a fun place to lose a few hours.
On the drinks menu, co-owner Alex Gastonbury (ex- Udaberri) has curated a South Australian-focused drinks list that includes reds, whites, and rosés from Travis Tausend, Gentle Folk and Ochota Barrels.
Pints of Coopers Pale and Pacific Ale are on tap, while Martinis, Negronis and Old Fashioneds round out a compact cocktail list. Bottomless coffee and soft drinks are available for teetotallers.
On the food front, Nearly keeps thingssimple and homey, serving cured meats and cheeses alongside some homemade snacks, including white beans in oil with burnt lemon and spice.
