Little Bang Brewing Company
Having a conversation about beer with Filip Kemp and Ryan Davidson is tough – they have an almost unfathomable amount of brewing knowledge.
Little Bang Brewing started its journey in Kemp’s backyard shed in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. After proving incredibly popular with the locals, it had to move to a larger location.
The brewery and cellar door is interactive – you have the opportunity help out with the brewing process. Apart from regular brew days, Davidson and Kemp encourage outside input for their Saturday afternoon small batch brews.
Beers such as the Uncommon Cloud Saison, Beard Fiction Pale Ale and the Icon Hoppy Steam Ale are regulars, but it’s the experimental brews that are the most interesting.
Freezer Cleaner is when you have bits and pieces left over and want to make something random but tasty. The Pinkening is a hibiscus-infused wheat ale; and the Sour Peachy Thingy was made because the duo had access to some local peaches.
The bar is multi-faceted. Drinkers can relax outside in the beer garden and play mini golf; sink beers on the wooden tables and chairs inside; or strike up a conversation with one of the brewers in the lounge area.
