Adelaide’s Biggest Design Market Returns to Wayville Pavilion This Weekend
Adelaide’s bi-annual design market Bowerbird is back with its biggest instalment yet. Arriving in time for gift-giving season, more than 170 emerging and established makers and creators will pack Wayville Pavilion from Friday to Sunday.
Find treasures across art, textiles, jewellery, homewares, furniture and more from local favourites such as Clay by Khoa, Border Co, Dana Kinter, From Found, Gemma Vendetta, Hey Reflect’o, Jam Factory, Julie White and Naomi Murrell.
New in the mix will be 40 first-time stallholders from across Australia, including locals E Heid Ceramics, En_Flora & Art, Georgia Walker Designs, Lush for Life, Solder and Thomas Yeend Design. Bring an extra-large tote to store your finds.
Stallholders are chosen for their high quality, variety and seasonality, with an emphasis on contemporary, handcrafted work. They’ll be complemented by live music and hands-on workshops.
Then recharge with coffee from Booknook & Bean, The Coffee Cart and Aerodynamica. Or a tipple from Lobo Cider, Antipodes Gin Co and Lambrook Wines.
Bowerbird Design Market runs from November 24 to 26 inside the Wayville Pavilion at the Adelaide Showground. Entry is $5 (children 12 and under enter for free). For the full list of stallholders visit bowerbird.net.au
