AFLW Round 3 – Adelaide Crows vs Western Bulldogs

Norwood Oval, Adelaide
Price: Free entry

After a stellar debut season, which saw the NAB AFL Women’s Competition attract huge interest, AFLW returns in 2018.

This third-round match between reigning premiers the Adelaide Crows and the Western Bulldogs will take place at Norwood Oval, Adelaide on Saturday February 17. This game will be only the second time the two sides have played each other.

In their maiden 2017 clash, Adelaide was the victor, defeating the Western Bulldogs by 25 points. After losing only two games in the 2017 season, Adelaide went on to meet the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final, where they won, beating Brisbane by six points and taking home the inaugural AFLW Premiership trophy.

Adelaide will have a new look in 2018; it picked up nine new recruits in the off-season. New faces include Marijana Rajcic, a former captain of Adelaide United in the W-League, and Jess Allan, a 184-centimetre ruck/forward who was picked first by the Crows in the AFLW Draft.

There will also be giveaways, entertainment and activities for the whole family.

While in Norwood, have an early dinner after the game at nearby Grotto Pizza-Teca on Edward Street, which serves some of Adelaide’s best pizzas.

Entry is free.
