Food & Drink
By Jane de Graaff,
3rd April 2012

It might be all hot cross buns and chocolates, but who’s going to be open for all those other meals over the Easter long weekend?

I

t’s so close you can almost taste the long weekend. That four-day bonanza of chocolate, R&R and general long-weekending that gives Sydneysiders the chance to make the most of those last balmy days.

If you’re not heading out of town to savour the Easter break, here’s a list of the thoughtful cafes and restaurants keeping the espresso machines hissing and hotplates heating over the long weekend.

Note: All licensed venues stop serving alcohol at 10pm on Good Friday and opening times can change, so maybe call before you swing by. Because everyone deserves a holiday!
