You might notice on your first visit to The Corner Shop’s relocated Strand Arcade store is that the loveable kitsch has gone. Instead it is a sleek, minimalist layout. Still situated on the same level of the arcade as before, The Corner Shop has grown up to become tighter, slicker and more curated than ever before.

Still stocking favourites such as Equipment, Isabel Marant and Phillip Lim, the new store is also anticipating the addition of higher-end arrivals, including pieces by Christopher Kane, Givenchy shoes and Céline eyewear. Thanks both to Seper and co-owner and buyer Jacky Yencken, the collection is expertly edited.

Although minimal, the store’s design is still welcoming, charming and familiar. Featuring new photographic artwork from Petrina Hicks and a soon-to-come neon sign, The Corner Shop is all grown up and ready for business.
