here’s a lot going into the relaunch of the Gowings building in Sydney’s CBD. The latest addition is the announcement that Topshop and Topman will be joining the fray, opening their first Sydney store in the Gowings development in October 2012.

Topshop has already graced Melbourne with its presence, but it has taken a while for Sydney to receive the same attention. That said, the Sydney store promises all the same fashion and services that the outlet is known for, including boutique, petite, tall, AAA and LTD (the men’s fitted range).

"We are very excited about the imminent launch of Topshop Sydney…a city known for its trendsetting and fashion conscious crowds,” says Mary Homer, Topshop managing director. “I feel confident the Topshop aesthetic will strike a chord with the effortlessly chic Sydney market and build on the phenomenal success of our Melbourne flagship store.”

Sprawling over four levels and covering a huge 1800 square metres, the store is set to be a one-stop-shop for apparel and accessories. So if you haven’t had a chance to try the much talked about complimentary personal shopping service (only offered in London, NYC and Melbourne), October will be your chance.

We’ll be interested to see what kind of impact the arrival of Topshop and Topman will have on the Sydney fashion arena.
