Following the release of their seventh album, Dust and Dirt, New Zealand flung reggae-funk-soul-afrobeat outfit The Black Seeds are set to bring some of their difficult to classify beats to the Metro Theatre later this month.

The performance is a stop along the way in the band's eight show tour which will be their first opportunity to showcase their newest offerings to fans who have been eagerly awaiting a follow up to Solid Ground, which was released in 2008. Since then the New Zealand boys have kept themselves occupied by reinterpreting tracks for their specifically remixed album Specials, being sampled on hit TV show Breaking Bad and making a Making Of Dust And Dirt documentary—busy bees, in short.
