Getting Down and Soulful at Sydney Festival

We swung through the dancefloor at the Daptone Super Soul Revue and kicked off the 2013 Sydney Festival in style.

ydney was at its balmy summer best the night we packed our camera and headed down to The Domain to capture the electric atmosphere of the Daptone Soul Revue. The three-hour outdoor dance party kicked off the 2013 Sydney Festival and featured Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, The Budos Band, Menahan Street Band and The Sugarman 3, with the ultra smooth Binky Griptite from the Dap-Kings as MC. There was dancing on the grass, sunset bathing and smiles all around.
