Fancy a weekend away in Victoria’s High Country sampling wines from the famous Brown Brothers vineyard? Sounds like a dream, but of course, not all of us can spare the time to split town. Luckily, the ever-thoughtful Brown sisters have decided to bring the country to us.
Katherine, Caroline and Emma Brown have taken the best of the stunning Milawa region and created a Hidden Vineyard in the heart of Prahran, where guests can enjoy a picnic surrounded by hanging vines while sipping on sparkling wine.
Katherine says she and her sisters wanted to bring their beautiful home to their city fans. “We wanted to share the lush green vineyards and rolling hills and bring a real element of adventure to the city – guests should look out for the vineyard growing from the roof.”
On arrival at the Hidden Vineyard, guests will be ushered to their own Prosecco Pod, where a picnic basket will be waiting for them, hanging from the vineyard above and filled with a complimentary bottle of Brown Brothers NV Prosecco and a selection of Milawa cheeses.
As if this Alice in Wonderland-like fantasy wasn’t sounding good enough already, guests can then relax on their picnic rug while being attended to by their own personal waiter.
If guests want to kick on into the night, they can leave the country behind and have their waiter escort them to the Prosecco Bar, where there will be a DJ, complimentary snacks and drinks at bar prices.
