The Order has been around the top end of town since time began. The rafters and well worn fixtures are your first indication of the history held in this venue.
Reminiscent of a Brooklyn Jazz club with a high stage and enormous ceilings, The Order plays host to shows ranging from Burlesque to bands and DJs. The flexible seating made up of booths, solid old tables and ottomans allow you sit down and enjoy shows when it’s appropriate or stand up and dance around.
When it comes to drinking, a capable bunch man the bottles and deliver drinks rapidly and with a smile. Tap beers, a reasonable wine list and an above average house spirits selection make this a good value and well stocked venue. The back bar imposes upon the entire room, stretching to the roof, housing an eccentric collection of junk from taxidermy fowl to oversized champagne bottles.
A selection of snacks is on hand to help you through even the most arduous of drinking and burlesque sessions. The Order does contain within itself another persona in the form of it’s sneaky Tiki rooftop bar. Fit for around 50, with its own bar, this little rooftop is a great escape from the city and the action in the main room below.
